Following the success of Sikh Students Camp, the Ontario SSAs (Western, York, UTM, Guelph, McMaster, Waterloo), and Vidhia Academy were merged under the banner of the Sikh Youth Federation.
Bhai Jagraj SIngh, the founder of Basics of Sikhi and Everythings 13, was invited by the Sikh Youth Federation for his first Ontario parchar tour. This tour included Katha, Q and As, street parchar, and more.
September is the birth month of Mata Khivi Ji, one of Sikhi's most special and revered mothers. She is celebrated for embodying the spirit of service and compassion which is central to Sikhi, through her life of devotion and seva. In the month of September, Sikh students from universities across the nation celebrated her contributions by holding langars at various campuses across Canada.
The ‘Candle in the Dark’ exhibition was custom designed to explore the narrative of Sikh history and ideology, viewed through the lens of the political and spiritual teachings of the Guru. SYF brought this exhibit outside of the UK for the first time.
The Sikh Youth Federation hosted events in over a dozen universities and high schools across Ontario and Quebec to celebrate Sikhi. Events included seminars, group discussions, Gatka demonstrations, dastar tying, and langar days.
The Sikh Youth Federation held its first annual Inter SSA Dodgeball Championship. With over 150 registrants and more than 7 competing SSA's, the event was a space for networking and friendly competition. Congratulations to York SSA for the win!
Sikh 2 Inspire's first Canada tour with Bhai Sukhraj Singh Ji, Bhai Tarjinder Singh Ji, and Bhai Inderjit Singh Ji. The tour included a family camp, daily English katha, workshops with SSAs, and an Amrit Sanchar
The first annual Turban Up took place at Yonge & Dundas Square. Canada's premiere Sikhi Awareness Day aimed to bring the country’s multicultural values to life, take the mystery out of the turban in a fun and colourful way, and foster bonds between people of all backgrounds.
I am Kaur organized their first event at Port Credit Memorial Park.
I am Kaur hosted its first camp for Sikh women. The camp’s goal was to inspire Kaurs to create positive changes in their lives and the lives of those around them through the teachings of Sikhi.
A social media campaign launched by the Sikh Youth Federation to shed light on the atrocities of November 1984. Sikhs from across North America, Europe, and Punjab helped the campaign trend on Twitter.

SYF hosted the Sikhia Conference at a local Brampton high school. The event has since grown into an annual 4 day career development retreat hosted in downtown Toronto.
The Sikh Youth Federation had the privilege of organizing a katha tour with Giani Bhagwan Singh Ji. The tour included Santhia of Dasam Guru Granth Sahib Ji for the youth.
The Sikh Youth Federation hosted Giani Sher Singh Ji for the month of December 2015. Giani Ji’s katha on the Chamkaur Sahib Jang was recorded during this tour and remains one of the most memorable months in the organization’s history.
An annual two-day initiative hosted in Gurdwara Sahibs across the Greater Toronto Area. Open to all age groups, Family Camp provided a unique opportunity for parents and grandparents to engage in workshops and Sikhi related activities alongside their children.

A weekend of tree planting and garbage clean ups in Brampton in memory of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji. This was done in partnership with One Million Trees Mississauga and counted toward @ecosikh's goal of planting one million trees for Guru Nanak Dev Ji's 550th Gurpurab.

Experience Sikhi joined the United Sikh Movement (a Sikh youth organization based in California) for an online camp in which the importance of sangat in Sikhi was explored through workshops, discussions, and activities.
The Kavi Bhai Santokh Singh Ji Scholarship and the Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Scholarship are launched. The scholarships are awarded to the best poem about an episode of Sikh history and the most comprehensive arths of an assigned Shabad.
Experience Sikhi ended off 2022 with Sikhi workshops at Castlebrooke, Humberview, Harold Brathwaite, Brock University, and McMaster University.
