Amrit Kaur is currently serving as the Vice Principal at Phoebe Gilman Public School in the York Region District School Board. She completed both her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education at York University. before becoming a teacher, Amrit Kaur pursued a variety of teaching opportunities driven by her passion for education and student development. For instance, as a student at the Yudh Gatka Akhara, a martial arts academy in the Greater Toronto Area, she took the chance to teach beginners. Additionally, Amrit taught Kirtan, Gurbani Santhia, and Gurmukhi to youth in Brampton, ON.
